HISTORY OF ARCASEARCH
With a foundation formed by a combined 60-year background in precision graphic arts and high-quality digital imaging, ArcaSearch was formed in 1992 from its parent company, ColorMax, Inc., to provide standard-setting digitization services to a wide variety of clientele. With an already-recognized international reputation for non-proprietary output services, color reproduction, digital workflows and associated file formats, software development, file transfer, and internet/intranet innovation, ArcaSearch was far ahead of competitors when the need and urgency for digitization services began to emerge in the U.S. in the late 1990s.
Based in Paynesville, MN, the ArcaSearch client list includes colleges and universities, county and municipal governments, libraries and museums, the publishing industry, and the not-for-profit and private sectors.
As a result of its innovative and U.S. patented techniques, ArcaSearch can take on and complete digitization projects that other providers must decline. Yet ArcaSearch is competitive in pricing with providers that offer only inferior results.
But don’t take our word for it. We are proud that more than 80 percent of our clients return to us for additional work and gladly attest to the quality of our services. Not infrequently, once they see the quality of our imaging and the strength of our Compass Research System, we are asked to use ArcaSearch technology to re-digitize collections previously done that fell far short of client expectations.
The key to ArcaSearch success is our depth of knowledge and pioneer status in the digital imaging profession, technology coupled with true craftsmanship that can solve virtually any customer challenge, and an ever-present commitment to client satisfaction.
